When I started it was clear that the founder, Luke Johnson, had done extremely well to lay the foundations of a potentially successful company and that all of his staff were working very hard. The financial turnover ran into several 100 thousand pounds, but the profits were very small. Essential procedures were missing and a focus on increasing profitability was badly needed.
